Hi Just to say thanks to everyone who has helped to date Both coaching on the water and advice about kit As a newcomer everyone has made me feel very welcome. David.

We were given a warm welcome to the club. Robert took us out for our taster flat water session. His teaching style was very relaxed and we felt at ease to ask questions to help our paddling. We will definitely be back for more sessions.

Another session for my son and I - got wet again - my own fault. Bob who took us and showed us a few things was great, very good company and teacher - getting warmer too! We'll book regularly and join now I think. Highly recommend this to anyone looking to try it out. It's not as easy as you think!

I have been to the MCC flat water sessions at Pinkston with my 9yr old son for a couple of weeks and we've had a great time so far - big thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome. :)

Today was my first time trying out the Monkland Kayak Club at Pinkston and it was great! I was made very welcome, got plenty of good practice and I can't wait to join the club formally and come back next week for my next session! Thank you Robert for your coaching!

Booking and coaching faultless....an hour and a half of fun. Could I suggest an organised pre-session limber up for 10 minutes or so?

I find it difficult to get the time to book. As a result I do not attend the pool. I would have come along more on an ad hoc basis and instructed. I am happy to do so, but would need to book? So personally I preferred the system of 15 min in and then swap over. It encouraged the folk sitting g to get to know each other too.

It was a great first session. Neil and I enjoyed ourselves. However it might be useful if it was a bit more structured. We won't be able to make it next week as it's fully booked which is a shame!

Great system. Easy to use. Slick operation and farvbetter than coaches wandering around collecting cash. Well done!
